This hurricane was intercepted by Jason Foster of Weathervine. Jeff
Gammons and Chris Collura were away on business during the landfall.

Jason Foster encountered hurricane force winds and impressive storm
surge from the sound leaving him trapped a top a bridge for six hours.
Once the water level dropped Jason Slowly moved back inland.

This was Jason's first hurricane chase and little data was recorded. A
few photos and some cool video clips are what Jason brought back
from the eye of Isabel.

Isabel Video
- Hurricane Isabel 2003 Video
Talk about storm surge, this video will get you a front row seat in some
of the most awesome storm surge filmed up close.  On numerous
occasions,  the videographer actually lost his footing trying to get
footage of seashore houses gutted by the clawing power of the waves.
This one hour video puts you on the Outer Banks a day before Isabel
made landfall.  The Outer Banks, that's where the action was for
those willing to brave a barrier island getting washed over.  This video is
a compilation of two cane chaser's (Scott McPartland & Jim Edds)
adventure to the northernmost Hurricane hotspot in North Carolina.
Order 2 copies and get a Hurricane Fabian tape for free! (offer good
